Jobs, Baby Jobs!

It was interesting to read what those clever Clintons devised with regard to our battle cry, "Drill, baby drill."  But it is more interesting since they don't propose a single leadership initiative that will foster job creation!

Barak Obama's dear wife Michelle states unequivocally that "Barak gets it."  But he tells folks on the campaign trail that "spreading the wealth around" through government taxation and credits is "good for everybody."  Except, perhaps, the sap who strove to achieve that "super-wealthy" status.

In the remaining, nail-biting days to November 4, 2008, Americans should increasingly realize that the Smooth Operator Obama is nothing shy of an anti-free market, free-trade Socialist.  A friend of mine, and supporter of Mr. Obama, feels that nothing better could happen than the demise of the free market.  He wholeheartedly identifies himself as a Socialist.  He, in fact, doesn't believe Barak is far enough to the left.

This election is not about chosing a great leader.  We don't have two contenders.  But we have one who stands to effect great damage on the country and culture we love.  We have one who believes in government forced wealth-spreading.  We have one who believes the solution to our problem isn't to be fiscally responsible, but to borrow more from China and Russia in an effort to join them in their communist paradigms.

The solution is certainly jobs, baby jobs.  But jobs come from businesses having the leeway to expand, not incentives to contract or move to a more friendly country.  Jobs will come when we have a free market that is back in line with predictable expectations (e.g. if you can't afford a house, you can't buy it).  Our jobs will return in great numbers when the government shows restraint and cuts the budget and pays down the debt.

The only candidate talking about a budget freeze and fiscal conservatism is John McCain.  His proposal is the most Herculean because it has seldom been tried.  Socialism, however, has been an alarmingly tantalizing solution for our government.  With Barak Obama we'll just get more of the same.
